Therapy is more than just a weekly bill on your bank statement; it’s an investment. And like many investments you’ve likely made, it requires extensive time, money, and energy. What makes it different than the rest? You are finally choosing to invest in yourself, healing your past, and paving your desired way forward.
The skills and insights you gain from therapy do not end at our last session; you carry them with you for the rest of your life. This work is about creating the energy, space, and environment to go deep and find true fulfillment in the life you’ve created.
$225 for the Initial Paperwork and Intake session
$180 per Individual Therapy 50 min session
Session frequency will vary depending on your needs and goals. Payments are due at the time of service.
I have a 24 hour cancellation policy for individual sessions, as appointment slots are reserved just for you. I am committed to your growth and transformation; therefore, I support you to attend your regularly scheduled sessions so that you can get the most out of your investment! Given 24 hours notice, your session can be rescheduled for the same week or the week after given availability.
As a therapist, it’s important that I practice what I teach. Therefore, I choose to limit the number of clients that I work with to ensure that I am able to fully commit the time, research, and preparation that it takes to support client in meeting their needs. I am committed to my clients and the therapeutic process, and I challenge my clients to do the same.
I do not work directly with any health insurance companies. When working with insurance companies, there are often specific stipulations around your care, the level of care you can receive, and how it’s provided. As a provider who deeply values individualized, comprehensive, and confidential care, this is not something that works within the paradigm of my services. Not taking insurance allows me both the time, energy, and creativity to develop personalized and inclusive treatment plans for my clients that best serve their individual needs.
If your insurance covers ‘out-of-network providers’, they may reimburse you for part of my fee. This would require that I provide you with a mental health diagnosis and a superbill that you can submit to your insurance to possibly receive reimbursement for a percentage of my session rate.
You can contact your insurance provider to find out more about your benefits and to determine what the reimbursement rates on your plan are. Please be sure to inform them that services will take place via Telehealth. All sessions are paid by you upfront, and you are reimbursed down the road directly through your insurance.
Keep in mind, there are many reasons an insurance company may not reimburse for sessions that you have paid for. This may be because you do not have a diagnosis that is covered, they do not reimburse for out of network providers, or that they do not cover telehealth services. Please reach out to your insurance company for more specific information.
I offer superbills (session receipts) to submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network session reimbursement.
I also partner with Mentaya, a 3rd party provider, that for a small fee can submit superbills to your insurance on your behalf for potential reimbursement. Learn more here.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
Client’s right include:
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, or any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
