My intention is to make the therapy process safe and accessible while not compromising the quality of care. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding services.
I provide both short-term and long-term therapy to help my clients best meet their needs. Treatments are always individualized and tailored to each client’s specific timelines and goals.
I provide individual therapy for adults 18 years and older.
I am now offering telehealth counseling services to all current and future clients.
First, you will schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation on the Contact page. You will hear back to confirm the consultation appointment is confirmed within two business days, Monday through Friday. Inquiries received Friday afternoon are addressed on Monday. Please check your junk mail or spam folders if you have not heard from me within that time frame.
Next, we will do a free 15-minute phone consultation to answer any lingering questions, discuss your concerns, and make sure we are the right fit. At the end, we will schedule the first session.
Then, you will be emailed the intake paperwork which is quick and easily done online before our first session.
In the first session, we’ll go over the intake paperwork & answer any paperwork questions. Your first session will be 60-90 minutes to cover paperwork & get to know each other. This session will be a little longer to get a full understanding of your needs & how I can help. Every session after will be 50 minutes. We will decide together in the first session how often we will meet to best support your treatment goals, this is usually weekly or every other week to start so that we can keep up the momentum we see in sessions. This can also vary as needed to meet your scheduling and budget needs. Payment will be auto-billed the same day after your session.
Our therapy sessions will be 50 minutes. We’ll start with a check-in on how things are going. We might talk about recent stress that came up at work, how things are feeling in your relationships, or how you’ve been practicing that breathing exercise we discussed when you get overwhelmed. If things are feeling good, we’ll work on the therapy goals and make sure you have practical tools to help you between sessions. I’ll give recommendations, resources, and the occasional (*always optional) homework to help keep the progress going.
In sessions, you guide the way but I will always be available to step in if you feel stuck. We’ll definitely laugh, sometimes cry, but always make sure you feel safe and supported. Things won’t feel stuffy or awkward. You won’t feel pressured, inspected, or judged. This will just be your time, in a comfortable space, to focus on yourself and get your needs met. Your growth and well-being are my top priority.
Everyone’s circumstances are unique, so the length of counseling can vary. The pace will depend on your own goals for personal development, commitment, and action, and the outside factors that might be driving you to counseling in the first place.
You might be looking for very specific support tools, interventions, or action steps that can be accomplished in a few months. Or you might be looking for long-term personal development and lifestyle changes that may take longer. This process is about meeting your needs and working toward your version of success.
We will work together to find the length of time that works for you.
Sometimes our internal work can feel overwhelming, or even terrifying. That’s okay, you’re normal! It can often be hard at the beginning to know what to discuss or where therapy may lead you.
In sessions, I will help you explore some of these deeper questions and get clarity on what our focus will be. There may be things along the way that you aren’t ready to process, and that’s completely okay. It’s my job to listen to your needs and be a respectful, kind, and caring partner to you along the way. As we get to know each other, you can share what feels appropriate for you.
A free 15-minute consultation call to determine if we are a good fit. Finding a therapist who “speaks your language” and who can meet you where you are is the key to having a productive therapeutic journey.
